Emerging onto the modeling scene with grace and purpose, Teniola Toriola, the newly crowned Miss Broward County US Nation 2025, is not just walking the runway — she’s redefining what it means to balance beauty, intelligence, and global perspective.

Teniola’s modeling journey began unexpectedly during her freshman year of college. While working at a local designer consignment store, she managed the boutique’s social media and occasionally modeled their latest pieces. What started as an impromptu role quickly blossomed into a passion. “I was inspired to get into modeling because I love fashion and expressing myself through clothing,” she shared.
For Teniola, modeling is more than aesthetic appeal — it’s a medium for empowerment. “The modeling industry is about empowering people through fashion,” she explained. “While great fashion pieces can be admired on the rack, it’s the models who bring the clothes to life.”
Recently, Teniola was seen walking the runway at Super Chic New York Fashion Week this past September, a milestone that further solidified her growing presence in the fashion world.
Her elegance and poise on the runway reflected her natural talent and passion for the craft — a clear sign that her journey in fashion is only beginning.
As Miss Broward County US Nation, Teniola is determined to use her title as a platform for both career growth and advocacy. “I want to use my title to open doors in my modeling career,” she said. “It will give me confidence, experience, and the opportunity to get more comfortable in front of the camera.” Her aspirations extend beyond local exposure — she envisions herself walking international runways, from New York to Paris, and participating in major events like Art Basel.
But Teniola’s ambitions go far beyond the world of fashion. A Software Engineer with a degree in Computer Science, she is deeply passionate about increasing the representation of women in STEM fields. “In high school, I was president of the Women in STEM chapter, and in college, I was one of the few women in my technical courses,” she recalled.

“Representation starts early — girls need to be told they are intelligent and capable of working in the sciences.” Through her platform, she hopes to inspire young women to pursue technical careers and feel confident breaking barriers in male-dominated fields.
Five years from now, Teniola envisions herself thriving in both film and fashion — acting, directing, and modeling for major brands. With her global upbringing — having lived in six different countries and traveled to seventeen — she brings a worldly confidence to every opportunity. “I love to travel and immerse myself in local cultures,” she said, reflecting the open-mindedness that defines her journey.
Perhaps most importantly, Teniola is on a mission to challenge stereotypes surrounding modeling and pageantry. “I want to break the stereotype that there’s a specific mold you have to fit to become a model,” she said. “I want to show girls everywhere that no matter what they look like, they too can model. And I want to break the idea that pageantry is only about looks.”
