Škoda Auto (ETR: VOW3) has presented the first interior sketches of the new Škoda Epiq and announced that the fully electric compact SUV crossover will make its world premiere in Zurich at 2 p.m. on May 19, 2026.
The Epiq is positioned as Škoda’s most affordable all-electric compact SUV and will be the brand’s first series-production model to fully implement the Modern Solid design language. The interior sketches highlight a minimalist layout, clean horizontal structure and practical design approach intended to support clarity, usability and everyday functionality.
The Epiq’s cabin design reflects Škoda’s focus on simplicity and practicality, with a clearly structured interior layout, open storage elements and a free-standing centre console that integrates wireless charging. The interior also applies selected sustainable materials as part of the brand’s Modern Solid design direction.
Škoda said the Epiq will play an important role in expanding its battery-electric vehicle portfolio in 2026. The model is part of the European Urban Car Family within the Volkswagen Group’s Brand Group Core and is designed to support broader access to electric mobility.
The world premiere of the Škoda Epiq is scheduled to take place in Zurich at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
