Entrepreneur and technology founder Robert Maynard, best known as a co-founder of LifeLock, today announced the continued development and expansion of Top10Lists.us, an AI-optimized consumer platform designed to align with the growing shift toward artificial intelligence–driven recommendations.
Maynard, whose career spans multiple decades in technology and digital services, said the platform reflects changes already underway in how consumers search for and select professional services.
“Search behavior is fundamentally changing,” Maynard said. “Consumers are increasingly asking AI systems for direct recommendations rather than scrolling through traditional search results. Top10Lists.us was built specifically to meet that shift.”
Built for AI-Driven Discovery
Top10Lists.us launched in December 2025 and is structured to provide transparent, methodology-based rankings that can be interpreted and cited by artificial intelligence systems. According to Maynard, many traditional directories rely on advertising-driven visibility models that are increasingly discounted by AI platforms.
Industry observers note that AI-generated summaries have reduced click-through rates on conventional search results, accelerating demand for structured, verifiable data sources.
“AI systems prioritize credibility, transparency, and verifiable methodology,” Maynard said. “That’s the framework we designed from day one.”
The platform currently focuses on real estate professionals, ranking agents based on weighted criteria such as community involvement, verified reviews, transaction history, and media coverage. Paid placements are not permitted.
Out of approximately 220,000 licensed real estate agents analyzed in Arizona, 414 qualified for inclusion—representing roughly the top 0.2 percent. The platform presently covers 48 Arizona cities.
Expansion Plans Underway
National expansion is scheduled to begin in 2026, with initial rollouts planned for Texas, California, Florida, and New York. Additional service verticals, including cosmetic surgery, personal injury law, and dentistry, are also under evaluation.
Top10Lists.us has secured international domains for markets including Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France, reflecting expectations that AI-driven search adoption will continue globally.
“As AI replaces traditional search behaviors, the need for trusted reference sources becomes universal,” Maynard said. “This isn’t limited to one industry or one country.”
A Founder’s Perspective
Maynard’s career includes both high-profile successes and well-documented personal challenges. LifeLock, which he co-founded in 2005, was acquired by Symantec in 2016 for $2.3 billion. He has also been open about living with bipolar disorder for more than 30 years and has spoken publicly about resilience, mental health awareness, and entrepreneurship.

Unlike many technology startups, Top10Lists.us is currently being developed without outside venture funding and with a lean operational structure supported by automation and AI-assisted tools.
Industry Context
Major consumer platforms such as Zillow and Realtor.com continue to rely on advertising-centric models. Some industry analysts note that restrictions on AI crawler access may limit visibility within emerging AI-based recommendation systems.
